After painting two Gale Force Nine large Eye Tyrants I finished their smaller fellow – Eye Beast from Reaper Miniatures. This time I painted him in blue-green colors with bright red eyes for contrast.
Mila the Barbarian
Here is my second miniature from Massive Darkness board game: Mila, the Barbarian. Apparently scanty clothes do not disturb her from exploring the dungeons 🙂
Three heads are better than one!
Some time ago I painted two headed hound from Mierce Miniatures. Now It’s time for three headed hydra – Khallas, Hydrakh of Ydron – also from Mierce Miniatures. This is really fine detailed miniature sculpted by talented Roberto Chaudon. It is based on 80mm round base, so the monster is neither too small nor to large.
Applying green base paint and basic highlighting with airbrush really helped to speed up the painting process. Even if most of the paintjob was done with a brush – enhancing shadows and highlights as well as painting details. For the base I used Vallejo Still Water as I cannot imagine hydra without water 🙂
I did not see this mini painted anywhere, but I guess this is good. This way I could use my imagination and creativity to paint her just as I imagined without copying other painter’s idea. Her – because this creature definitely looks like a female to me 🙂 Maybe because of long neck and specific head(s) position…. I just got that impression. And what do you think?
Ingrior Of Aelfheim
Ingrior Of Aelfheim – another of Red Box Games elves. The color scheme suggests that she could be a part of Lothern Sea Guard. Or maybe she really is?
Derkin
Here is Derkin, 30mm miniature from Nocturna Models. This is rather simple figure but also nicely detailed. And he is full of character – just as typical, smoking-pipe dwarf should look like.
