Re: p1per's WIPs
Looks good. The red is awesome - can I ask for the recipe please - but I think the lips need a spot highlight to give them a lift - they are a bit flat in your photos.

Re: p1per's WIPs
Looking good, but I liked the skin more on Seamus. You made contrast stronger there. Or are you trying new skin formula?

Re: p1per's WIPs
thx guys
@sea.man Yep I wanted to try a different mix with a more pale/light skin color as basecoat. I still need to find a better suited color than Doombull Brown for shadows (at least I didn't like it where it was going when I added more and more)... but the new "Scorched Brown" (which I liked for shadows when painting human skin) -> Rhinox Hide isn't really the same. Scorched Brown had a nice red tint in there, Rhinox Hide, well, is just a really dark brown. :/ I will see how much time I will have left at the end when I'm almost done and maybe tweak her skin shadows a bit as some final touch-ups - right now I'm a bit under pressure 'cause I thought I had like two weeks but she has to be ready by the end of the week (at least I will try to make it in time).
Colors:
Red Cloth:
Basecoat: GW Doombull Brown : GW Evil Sunz Scarlet (1:2)
First Highlights: up to pure GW Evil Sunz Scarlet
Further Highlights: adding GW Kislev Flesh (to GW Evil Sunz Scarlet)
top highlight was about 2-3:1 GW Kislev Flesh: GW Evil Sunz Scarlet
Shadow I: GW Doombull Brown : GW Evil Sunz Scarlet : GW Xereus Purple (1:2:1)
Shadow II: GW Doombull Brown : GW Evil Sunz Scarlet : GW Xereus Purple (1:2:2)
Shadow III: GW Doombull Brown : GW Evil Sunz Scarlet : GW Xereus Purple (1:2:3)
Green Cloth:
Basecoat: GW Castellan Green : GW Caliban Green : GW Doombull Brown (2:1:0,5)
Highlights: adding GW Ushabti Bone to the basecoat
Shadows: adding GW Caliban Green to the basecoat
Sry that I can't give u specific ratios for the different steps but I'm trying to drop my habit/behaviour concerning this strict ratio-mixes 'cause I think it gets me locked up a bit. So I'm trying to do it more spontaneous and just mix a color until I'm satisfied with it.

Re: p1per's WIPs
Some progress:
I also tried to increase the contrast a bit on her skin not sure though if it's visible on the picture. Legs and her bottm part of the cloak thing started.
Cheers

Could you remind me where you live exactly? No, just asking in case I'm passing by to just break your fingers
Re: p1per's WIPs
Those tweaks really make it pop now - it looks great. Keep going!!!

You really got another skin formula working, it looks nice.
