- nearly complete from the FW room (all the tanks, IG regiments, and stuff - all painted)

No entries posted so far.

so what's to come:
- pics of entries

I asked, because I tried to recall how many painted or new minis were shown in Poland. I remember few painted marines and high elves from the last GD PL.
Sad, isn't it? I mean, when you compare it with all these minis showcased in Germany - sculpts, new releases, paintjobs....

Last year on GD PL we saw new Ork battle Wagon and few Lizardmens. 2 years ago we had seen few space marines and high elves. And what makes me fell pain it's that GW didn't show us anything from FW, we havn't had possible to buy any Mail Order or FW things on our GD. We havn't got chance to see all the green stuff minis etc. Poor Polish GD :/

Well, actually I was very impressed with the event itself. Even more than in France:
- many great tables for gaming, with interesting and well described scenarios (really encouraging to try the game)
- fun games (like 40K in 1:1 scale, large tank battle, or Aeronautica Imperialis played with 40K scale models)
- people in excellent costumes creating atmosphere for the event
- large places for scratch demons and painting classes for beginners (and both really actively used)
- well prepared painting demo with well known international painters (although it wasn't done by the GW but by das-bemalforum)
- much staff and excellent preparation (staff with microphones/speakers so that they didn't have to shout to each other but communicated via the headsets, separate person to take entries for every category, etc.)
- excellent location (you can see that it was partially ne and partially old - excellent for the event)
- many interesting guests (Phil Kelly, Simon Egan, Joe Tomaszewski, Dan Abnett, and more - easily approachable and communicative)
- interesting showcase of their products
- Black Library stand, Mail Order stand , Forgeworld stand, standard GW stand

and yet still most people in Germany were disappointed that GW changed the policy regarding new releases and that they decided to show NO NEW releases at this event and to hold them back for one more month...

This shows how huge was the gap between our Polish events and this one in Germany - which still disappointed some people :(
