Suggestions on how to cast putty

How to convert or sculpt a miniature? How to make a decent base or even a full diorama?!

Suggestions on how to cast putty

Post by Barton »

What I want to do is to make copies of sculpts I have made in putty (Aves Apoxie® Sculpt). The result I hope for is to be able to reproduce in putty a copy of something I have already sculpted. Is it best to use RTV molds or something else??? I hope I explained this well enough. Thanks in advance for any help at all.

It depends on how many copies are you going to make.

The easy way is silicone mold and resin for casting.
But I believe Demi_morgana is much more knowledgeable about casting...
