yes arctica, beastmen (I didn't make a pic of the 2nd this time) are almost finished. some small bits here and there. and bases of course.

gorilla is an orc, as Demi said

I don't know why ilyad (or comics author) called their monkey models orcs. it's pretty big, of ogre/troll size.

ain't bad... I'd buy red ink and apply a glaze of it onto all the red plates. you would get nice smoooth saturated reds!

and the orc model is awful. not the sculpt, but the concept is not what I like. I think I prefer sci-fi/pulp apes

Promising start on the gorilla. The Beast men hero looks a bit Nurlgy with the green-ish tints on him, I like. Only the hooves and the horns look a bit alike to the armour caps, maybe some more boney colour would make them stand apart a bit better?

I have some minis finished, but I can't show them yet due to different reasons. so for, just to keep you entertained, another of my WIPs. lady had base colours painted long time ago, today I did bit more work

I don't know why you did it but the dress looks just great!
the face is much better than your previous faces too....

what caused this improvement?

and aren't these Tom Meier's sculpts difficult to paint?

yeah, really delicate transparency on the dress - I can barely see what's under it... barely...

well, thanks Mahon, I haven't expected such kind words. Perhaps it looks better on my pics than in RL.
improvent - I don't know, maybe SoD made me try harder?

I guess I'm slowly learning new tricks and gaining more experience with every mini.

Demi - yeah, I didn't want to make a porn star out of her

BTW, I tried to paint nipples too, and failed miserably
