Lord of the Rings new releases.

The plastic Winged Nazgul... looks like great kit and best of all it's plastic. It's less impressively posed than the original metal figure, but it still looks great in my opinion. Keep your eye of for some great conversions.

I think the new mounted Eomer is a missed chance... at first sight this mini looks awesome, but the shield lacks serious detail and the horse is oddly posed in my opinion. And with some great paintjobs coming out of the Eavy Metal studio the last couple of months I think this one is quite poor.

And Saruman is supposed to look evil, not like a grandpa riding a poney :)

I think the picture quality certainly doesn't help these paintjobs any. They're horrible photos! :sick:

the plastic nazgul is really cool and I agree - we're going to see this one used for conversions so very often.
Saruman could almost pass for a Santa...
Eomer looks like poor casting of a good sculpt.
The rest are not worth mentioning :(
