Hey all. First time posting here. I painted this up over the past few weeks. I was hoping that you guys can critique it for me. Saw what some of you guys can do and I think this is a good place for suggestions.
Any way here he is.

RE: Durthen on Boar
Okay, very nice!
First off, there is some spillage paint on the edge of the base. Paint it black then it would look clean again.
The fur and hair could do with some really sharp highlights at the edges and I would like to see some more definition on the skin.

well my few cents other than those skrit mentioned is that the brown part of the axe handle, you could possibly give it some more shading in the recesses but thats a very minor thing. I do like the feel of the model its fun I really like the NMM you've done on your model and can i recommend something to make the gem shinier? i think they're great but making them a bit more glossy would really pick them out well. Good job though mate
Now the axe looks like stone - which doesn't have to be a bad thing, especially if that's what you wanted It's not bright and shiny enough for NMM, and the roughness and limited highlights make it look like stone.
I love the base - it's pretty interesting and well modeled.
What I would change is the skin - I think it needs to be shaded a bit deeper or highlighted a bit more. Of course it may be just my personal preference, but I think it would make it look more interesting.
BTW what range is this mini from?
