Hello!
I'd like to start new project called "Gdansk", army for By Fire and Sword game.
You can learn more about OIM here:

Gdansk was the biggest port in Baltic sea in that time and the richest city in Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. I was inspired to collect them after I read fantasy book about Adrendt Dickmann(Dutch born, Polish admiral and citizen of Gdansk). The book is called "Galeony Wojny" but It is the least important in this topic
Anyway, you would ask "why 1655-1660?". In 1655 the war between Polish-Lithuanian commonwealth and Sweden started. My "army" present skirmish forces of Gdansk.
Army list:
2 stands of Strzelcy wyborowi(sth like snipers)
6 stands of Reiters with arquebuses
4 stands of mercenary infantry
1 command stand
I have painted command stand and stand of Strzelcy wyborowi so far These miniatures are really tiny, about 15mm high.
Command groupe (without banner, I add it 2 days ago pictures are older)

It's better for me because I can clearly see how many bases I have to paint.
I also planned places of standing my little soldiers before painting so I need to stick to the plan
Thanks!

Damn intersing project - very unusual!
Re: Royal City of Gdansk 1655-1660
I finally finished first base of mercenaires.
From historical point of view those each guy should be diffrent (I mean uniforms), but as you can see I have painted them all red IMO It looks better but I will repaint their hats ( to be more historical correct than now )
I hope you like them =]
