Nice one I really like that one. One minor thing - a bit more contrast on his NMM parts would have been nice and that black shadow on his axeblade looks a bit harsh.

The water effect is EnviroTex Lite Pour-On high gloss finish. Plus a little bit of paint. It's actually maybe 3-4 mm deep, but I painted the sides to match the rest of the base. You can see where I didn't manage to smooth it to blend it with the wood.
