Gildor's Galadhrims

Post by Gildor »

Hi!

Last time I have started collecting my new LoTr army. I bought core unit, heroes and MAS bases.
In this topic I will share with you step by step pictures from rising my "horde" :)

Color scheme:

Army list:
-Rumil
-Stormcaller
-24 Galadhrim warriors
-2 great eagles
-Wildmen of Druadan (9)
-Ghan-buri-ghan

I'm not sure about this army list. I have to ask my friends from mitril.pl about their opinion. For me, eagles are must-have models. IMO they are one of the best sculptures from Lotr/hobbit range so far!
So, thats all for now. Keep your fingers crossed! :)

Good luck with your Tale. Color scheme is a classic but nice one still :)

Thanks guys!
Im currently working on bases, I want to make them look like from fantasy land with many green areas and magic stones.
So far I have made and painted only few (you can also see them above):

I'm spending about 15 minutes painitng one(without flocking and time to dry glues) :banghead:
I will finish it on my retirement :D

BTW Tale of Gamers is a great idea :) very inspiring to see other armies : >

Thanks :)
I'm also preparing trays. Those ones are from GW and they were designed for WOTR (war of the ring, bigger battles than in lotr,gw's fail, especially in Poland). But whole armies look great on them so I decided to buy a few. As you can see-early WIP :)
