I must say, I don't get the company anymore. NO idea what are they thinking...
But I still want my ugly demon on the shelf;/
And then I can forget about their existence.

got #3 in today, it probably got checked by a QA worker, because the package was opened.

overall much better quality, but still 3-4 large bubbles on first glance

But they shipped it in a normal envelope, the head snapped off during shipping :(
Nice job Customer Service

pictures soon

anyways I'm done with this this finecast crap, I've seen enough!

I'd like to conclude my story with the fact that the figure was finally refunded. Straight to my Visa, so no gift-voucher nonsense.

Today I found this post: http://5-th-dimension.blogspot.com/2012 ... eview.html

Imagine spending weeks looking for a model with a straight staff, painting it up nicely. And then this happens after two months in the display cabinet:

Here another story that im trying to fix with FW, it seems some of the models of Forge world are now Finecast in this case the new TARTAROS PATTERN TERMINATOR ARMOUR

This is not a bad thing if thing went the same quality but to me the picture posted in their web site its not a finecast cast but the normal resin used by them, since i received with the same order the MK IV MAXIMUS ARMOUR and the cast is good.
so enough of writting here are some pictures

heres a little explanation
Helmet where are the breeders?
the shoulder pad besides the mold lines is missing a part of the sculpt, and you might ask what is that thing at the right, well its the metal strap that goes on top of the flamer   and that one its not even resin its rubber, something went really bad
the bolter  they are all like that
Hands the fingers are all s...t  and the torso what can i say from mold lines to big cuts, bubble holes and other things you name it they have it.
I left the best for last, thats the sprue for the sargent/captain and guess what its made of rubber  :x :banghead: , yes its not flask its rubber everything there can be bended and even streched to some degree     and the worst part is that the rubber flask its part of the cast so you need to really sculpt/cut on your own risk    :x :x :x
Oh and there isnt a single piece thats smooth :banghead:

And there you go ...
Oh i dont want to go full of steam and with only bad things written so heres a good one the new termies are really cool but finecast?

Call them and tell them the quality is totally awful and you can't fix them, they'll replace them without asking aything as long as it was bought from them directly ( FW obviously is, but applies for GW stuff). I am pretty much doing it with every finecast now, being okish or not, just for the sake of it.
