Do you still remember that some people use miniatures for gaming?

I can definitely recommend this game system! skirmish games rulez!!!
it's something totally differnt to play with only 10-15 minis per gang; each ganger can ba armed differently and have his own characteristic profile...
I even have named most of my gangers! :bonk: :D

I myself took a break from GW gaming and found some really enjoyable games... Damn, we're all brainwashed by GW to think there's nothing outside their world.

You don't need more than 1 characteristic for a fun game :) Many games managed to break the IGO-UGO way, complexity doesn't necessarily mean realism or fun.

Still, Necromunda is one of the best GW creations! The same goes for Mordheim (though I will be trying Ares instead soon), Man-O-War, Gothic, and other Specialist Games!

I agree; imo it's strange that there is little necromunda players: the game is MUCH more dynamic and enjoyable than wfb or wh40k; moreover it's much easier to organize tournamnt when all You need is a dozen or so miniatures... strange...

aaah... ratskins... great gang :)
3 days ago I've almost bought some ratskins minis on allegro (polish internet auction); almost, because I barely contained myself... and now I really regret it :(
it's so hard to get necromunda minis nowdays... :suicide:

another scavvy's triumph!

Post by Demi_morgana »

heya!

I've just came back from necromunda battle, it was another victory of mutants and ghouls :D
although hive's quake consumed 2 of my scavvys and one ghoul, I managed to destroy ratskins who dared invade my territory :rifle:
this time we decided to use independent character "the bug" which I am finishing at the moment (big, slimy beast  )

so, here's my 500 points gang:

- scavvy boss, autogun, tox bombs (166)
- scavvy,. stub gun, bludgeon (33)
- scavvy,. stub gun, knife (38)
- scavvy, scatter gun, knife (37)
- scavvy, scatter gun, club (32)
- scavvy, autopistol, stub gun, chain (50)
- scavvy, autopistol, stub gun (45)
- scavvy, autogun, stub gun (53)
- scavvy, autogun, knife (41)

scavvy's rescue mission...

Post by Demi_morgana »

tonight we played another battle in the underhive and I can proudly say... that I lost it! :D
it was still great frun: 30 scavvys trying to rescue their comrade from dirty hands of enforcer's patrol
I learned that when because of treacherous conditions troops may not run and there's no place to hide - it sucks :?
but next time I'm gonna field more, much more cannon fodder and THEN we'll see... :thug:

necro-campain

Post by Demi_morgana »

I've just came back from our first battle of necromunda campain!
it was great!!! not only I got experience and some advances but also captured 2 puny ratskins! (I stole equipment from one of them and took him as a hostage and the second one... was sold into slavery for stupid 20 credits! )
unfortunately 2 of f**king disloyal scavvies decided to abandon me after the battle! :x well... 2 mouths less to feed after all...

lessons I took from this day: hunger is VERY serious problem in scavvy society... just like too big gangs...
I've also learnt what are disadvantages of fielding undehive scum :?
