Hi there,
I am a real friend of hellspawn, my name is also Julien (no, not every french is called like that i promise!), i am 30 years old, and also a member of the Team Toulouse (and also living in this great town).
I work as a trainee notary/Solicitor, with my time as a trainee ending in a few months now
I started painting 1/72 WW2 scale models with my dad as a kid 20 years ago (and playing wargames with him with our own rules back then!), and then moved onto GW stuff right before the release of Necromunda.
I started with warhammer battle and collected the 2 armies from the box which were at that time High elves and orcs and goblins (that was the warhammer box with the cardboard monsters and war machines in it), thus my first painted mini was a plastic night goblin from that box.
I then moved to necromunda ( van saar gang back then, joined by eschers and redemptionists since), and shortly after to 40K with the wonderful Chaos space marine codex we had at that time
Over the year i accumulated a huge amount of minis (GW, but also rackham, helldorado, freebooters and so on...) which are yet to be painted, however my goal for now will be to have a couple of full painted armies (soon to be seen in the Tale of gamer part of the forum )
Another Hi from France and from Toulouse!
Re: Another Hi from France and from Toulouse!
Welcome Julien!
So you say not all French guys are named Julien? Hmm.... you may be right, as there is one Nicolas they sometimes talk about in the news. But I am not sure if he's French enough
Seriously though: WELCOME! Just in time to experience the blue forum before the repainting ^^
I am sure that as soon as you finish the traineeship ends you will be able to get even more miniatures and (maybe) have some time for painting them. Or at least that's what I wish you.
Take a look around, find yourself a nice place in our strange-humored company and enjoy the place
Plus show us some minis
