Werner's Showcase

Post by werner »

I finished painting Kili. I used this miniature to practice on my layering/highlighting technique.

C&C are welcome...

I've changed my last highlight/layer method on my Goblin Warriors.
Instead of layering the whole skin as final stage, I did a highlight:

They look just fine :)
Personaly I'd give them a layer of glaze to make pale flesh less striking but it's the matter of taste I guess.

looking good for gaming purposes. now, the question is how much do you want to improve? :)
there still place for improvement, so you can try and add new techniques :)

Thanks for the tips.

I want to improve a lot!!! And I know there's still place for improvement. That's why I post here on this forum, so I can learn from you guys.

I'm trying the layering technique and the shading technique the last couple of weeks, you can see the results on viewtopic.php?f=37&t=8709 (c&c are always welcome there) and my blog http://wernershobbyblog.blogspot.be/.
I notice that I like painting more then gaming. I don't like batch painting.

I finished Narzug this week. I'm happy with the result. I've given the skintone an extra highlight. I also didn't use a painting guide for the first time. Normally I search and/or create a painting guide before I start painting a miniature.

Thanks for the tips I received!

I finished the wooden walkway of 'The Goblin King's platform'. I had underestimated the details (bones and the other stuff).

This terrain look very good! Maybe you could add a little bit of green to make it look as if an old wood with moos?
