I like what you've done for the giant, but considering the size and detail, it doesn't quite pop out for me. It doesn't have that wow factor. I think something like tattoos or some more detail may give it that little extra "umph" i like the little flowers on the base.

Arctic - I know,what you mean, it's missing that something special. I plan to revisit the model once I've tried out painting tattoos.
I've worked out the reason my photos were washing out was I ran them through an editing program
This compressed the files and effectively ruined the end result.
I'm now having a little trouble with consistent lighting. Hey how.. I'll get there
