Demi_morgana Thanks mate,
To be praised by a pro like yourself, and one of my row-models, couldn't make me happier.
Several years ago your sunset strikers inspired the colour scheme for my Marikos' Mishima.

As for WarZone minis I have a descent size Mishima army that is going to be my pride and glory, sadly it will take time before I will get to painting them as I am waiting until my skill level will be good enough to do them just. I still love that system, and they way that they were painted in the rule book, the old-shool style of cheery bright colours really impressed me.

I am preparing to paint the dragonbike, I will do my best not to disappoint you.
Kind Regards
K'

Oh I am sure you won't :)
It's just great to see good old Warzone is not dead yet.

o a Mage ..
ther isa Gap betwen arm end rest -
well i would advice to mount things before paiting (as much as possible) end check if things actualy fit before peinting - nd then after primer is set on mini - double check if things fit (they tend not some times )

back to painting - Green to yellow - thats reminds me of Wood elf painting theme by GW - it whas all about green to yellow shading

ok work looks clean - but subtele dark linking betwen parts like belt / robe , lether parts / robe - would add "volume" to whole effect

FaCE - what with hiseyes - do they "glow" or that smered mascara ??
other thing- hairs , the natural 1 tend to shine so idea is to paint this shine on them (somthing like NMM on hairs but much more subtele as this mey reflect natural hair shine )

base - i think you mey compouse such like this 1 in biger base end creale smouth transicion with puty

fire familiar (or what is it) at ts moment it is orange fruit familiar not flame 1
flames tend to:
look difrent
be dynamic (hard to paint but possible)
cast light
include colors from black to white , with oranges , blue , red :) - yuo know like flames :D
Thini Gems on belt - looksgood end clean

Welcome everybody
Thank you for the feedback. I hope that work shows that I am putting that advice into practise.
This time I am presenting a project done for my friends' birthday.
The choice of colours was done to emphasize the cartoony character of the mini, thus the live colours and not entirely harmonized set.

For reference time spent on the project is about 12-16 hours. Sorry I haven't counted more precisely and it was spread over 4 weeks, hence the inaccuracy.

I hope that you like the pictures.

probably the weirdest model I've seen this year  but good idea for b-day gift!
what't the manufacturer?

The manufacturer is Darksword minis.
They have a hole mass of those minis, I find them quite fun. I think that in the near future I will show some of them.

Kind Regards

funny mini :)
you could have painted the base side black. I think it would made the scene pop. the natural wood is too similar to earthy colours you have on the mini.
