Re: pae's junk
Great work Pae, any chance of a close up of the head/face? I'm trying to figure out what you did to the glasses as this could be a good idea for my wizard when I get back into painting my mini's
Getting back into the thick (or rather thin as in thinning my paints) of it, not picked up a brush in some time so this may hurt a bit until I get used to the feel of them again
Re: pae's junk
The best I'd be able to offer is a higher resolution crop of the head, since I'm not in possession of the figure any longer. I'll see what I throw together soon.

CP66 - pae's mini is no in DarkTower's hands. and believe me, he is more than capable of making a good pic. ask him for some close ups, I believe he'd make it for you

Here's the hi-res headshot in all its not-so-flattering light:

Basically I treated the lenses like gems. Dark green at the top, medium in the middle, lighter on the bottom, and then yellow for the glow. Then I added some white specular highlights near the top.

Just what I was after, if Dark Tower can do a better pic I'd be greatful but this one is good enough for now Perfect descryption of how to do it as well now all I need to do is get back to painting :$
