Sculpts
•Participants can enter one sculpt each.
•Each entry must be a new, unique piece sculpted for this competition.
•The scale/size should be 30mm. In this case, that means 28mm to the eyes and 30mm to the top of the head, for a human character.
•Any race, faction or role that springs to the sculptor's imagination is allowed.
•Any medium or materials are allowed
•Premade components are allowed, but only those expressly stated to be allowed for commercial re-use. E.g. Hasslefree heads, Ebob armatures, etc.
•Entrants retain all rights to their original sculpts.
Submission
•At least two photos of each entry must be submitted: the initial armature (bare or skinned – skinned in the case of commercial armatures) and the finished sculpt.
•Entrants can create a topic for their entries on this competition board, and attach or embed the photos of their armatures and finished sculpts. WIP photos can also be shown in the individual topics. Alternatively, the armature and finished photos can be emailed to vermis@minisculpture.co.uk.
•Please try to make sure the photos are clear, well lit, and appropriately sized and cropped. Avoid backlighting, and photos of the room with a tiny sculpt in the middle. A number of shots (3-4) of the finished sculpt, from different angles, may also be helpful in that regard.
Duration
•the competition will run for sixty days, from April 2nd to May 31st 2011. Final entries must be submitted before midnight GMT on May 31st.
Judging
•Entries will be judged by Tom Anders, Chris Adkerson and Ramsey McPherson of Impact! Miniatures.
•The top three winning entries will be awarded first, second and third places.
•In addition, each entry that receives a 4 out of 5 average score from the judges may also be included in the Targeted Impact! program. This offer is made through the competition, but is independent of Mini Sculpture, and is at the discretion of Impact! and any entrants they approach.
•Impact! Miniatures have provided suggestions for style and other factors, for the Targeted Impact! Program. Those entrants interested in the program are also asked to restrict their entries to vulcanisable materials: i.e. metal and epoxy putty. Avoid polymer clay and plastic components.

•First Place: A set of five, size 0, extra firm Clay Shapers; five Hasslefree armatures; and two packets of Procreate epoxy putty.
