WAMP Competitions

Post by arctica »

Well on the WAMP forums (http://www.wamp-forum.com) they have arranged a load of competitions for this year, some are particularly interesting:

Gamezone - 20th April
Avatars of War - 17th May 2009
Westwind productions - 14th June
Ultraforge - 12th July 2009
Fatal Personality - 9th August 2009
Urban Mammoth - 6th spetember 2009
Armorcast - 4th october 2009
ironwind metals - 1st november
Pegaso - 30th November

The Rules are:

 pieces must be work done for the contest - no dusting off 3 year old minis!
 you can enter as many times as you like but you can only win one prize per contest
 you can enter anything from that manufacturer's range
 you can enter a single mini, diorama, vignette or 300 piece battle scene - go wild!
 you must be a member of wamp to enter

I think some of you might be interested anyway it will be fun too :)

I would like to do the gamezone one but woul dhave to track down a mini for it first. The others I am not familur enough with the ranges to know of any thing I would like to paint.
If it wasn't for the gutter my mind would be homeless.

cool. I'll post my gamezone mini there. Always wanted to paint AoW mini, so next contest might be a good motivator to finish one. Other are not so interesting for me. Pegaso perhaps?

I actually agree with you here, other than AoW and Pegaso (possibly) the others don't really interest me but the two mentioned i need to get models for them first. Atm im working on my blood knight model.

a month is not that long ;)
thanks for the link! let me check the entries now

EDIT
checked, really cool stuff. I think that only WFB single category was a bit disappointing.

The competitions are in sooth interesting and, I would say, unusual! Thanks for the shared information! I find it useful!
