Re: CoolMiniOrNot news
I surrendered and ordered the book. Really looking forward to it.
Re: CoolMiniOrNot news
I think it is a great idea. I wonder if they were asking artists for allowing them to publish their pics?

Re: CoolMiniOrNot news
yes they ask the artists for approval and also for extra high-res pictures of the miniatures
yeah it's expensive, but in my opinion you cannot put a price on good inspiration

Yes you can and you should specially if you have a artistic profession...believe me, If you do not select you will be broke in 1 hour
These days inspiring artbooks alone are so many that you really have to.

Re: CoolMiniOrNot news
I partially agree: didn't think about artbooks. But when you take a look at publications of miniature painting alone there is so little out there that is perfectly possible to own a lot of that material.NAVARRO wrote: These days inspiring artbooks alone are so many that you really have to.
The Ravage Hors Serie magazines are also very inspiring and not that expensive (if you can get them)

Never got the ravage mag but loved old Cryhavock from old rackham. Your milleage may be diferent from mine, but I mix my "inspiring" material in one big lump, and since miniatures are only a very small part of my main art production the artbooks I get are mostly for other stuff ( yet they are still usefull for miniworld).
For example this book with painted miniatures is a cool thing and not that common on the market, as you said... but it cannot compete with:
a) More indepth artbooks I currently pick.
b) Internet ( and its all there for you to burn a cd)
But not always logic prevails and Im still considering getting one
Re: CoolMiniOrNot news
