haha :D

Nah, I think it's a good point: there is probably a bit of inconsistency in the movements going on, and that is a good thing to think about - I'll try to remember that one, it's an interesting point!

Or I could put the positive spin on things, and say I was trying to create a 'contrast in her movements' to make the scene more dramatic! haha

Guild of Harmony ['Zara Craft' now available!]

Post by sebastian »

Hi everyone, the next release for the Guild of Harmony 32mm Steampunk range is now available - Zara Craft, Relic Hunter :)

A wayward daughter of the aristocratic 'Craft' family, Zara satisfies her rebellious desire for adventure by seeking out forgotten artefacts in the eldritch crypts and ancient, labyrinthine tunnel systems beneath the bustling streets of New London. Known for her agility and athleticism, alongside deadly proficiency with her dual pistols, Zara is more than capable of holding her own when a situation turns sour.

Zara Craft is a 32mm limited edition resin figure, strictly limited to 350 copies. Each copy comes with a hand-signed certificate of authenticity.

Now available at the Guild of Harmony online store

Dude ! the detailing on this is fantastic and the dynamic pose is great. I'm always wow'ed by your stuff and this is still just as good and appeals to me as i love most things steam punkish. Steam punk for the win ! >.<

Thanks very much for the comments guys, I'm glad you like 'Zara'! I had fun trying a more dynamic pose, for this one. I was worried that all that stuff on her head might make her look a bit 'Carmen Miranda', but it needed the extra height to balance out the pose - so I hope it works ok!

I actually just finished sculpting the next steampunk mini last week, and I think it's even better...but time will tell, it'll be a while till release so it's secret for now ;)

haha yes, agreed - it is definitely quite cheesy! But that is sort of the whole point, right?
