Guild of Harmony
Re: Guild of Harmony
haha
Nah, I think it's a good point: there is probably a bit of inconsistency in the movements going on, and that is a good thing to think about - I'll try to remember that one, it's an interesting point!
Or I could put the positive spin on things, and say I was trying to create a 'contrast in her movements' to make the scene more dramatic! haha

Re: Guild of Harmony
Dude ! the detailing on this is fantastic and the dynamic pose is great. I'm always wow'ed by your stuff and this is still just as good and appeals to me as i love most things steam punkish. Steam punk for the win ! >.<

Re: Guild of Harmony
I second the praises on sculpting, but... Zara Craft? Man, that's just cheesy
Re: Guild of Harmony
Thanks very much for the comments guys, I'm glad you like 'Zara'! I had fun trying a more dynamic pose, for this one. I was worried that all that stuff on her head might make her look a bit 'Carmen Miranda', but it needed the extra height to balance out the pose - so I hope it works ok!
I actually just finished sculpting the next steampunk mini last week, and I think it's even better...but time will tell, it'll be a while till release so it's secret for now

haha yes, agreed - it is definitely quite cheesy! But that is sort of the whole point, right?Nameless wrote:I second the praises on sculpting, but... Zara Craft? Man, that's just cheesy
