I have always wanted to buy some of these minis but every one I have seen in the shop seems to be poorly cast with horrendous mold lines. Is this because I a seeing old castings or have they improved?

they say that the new owner provided better quality, but I haven't seen the new casts so I can't compare them.

I have old(about 30) and new(10) ones. There are not problems with casting. Mould lines are but not big or small, just the usuall I would say

I bought and painted a set years ago when the game was just released. Metal figures were very good quality.

But of course it's possible that they didn't replace the molds in time, so the last batches of metal models could have suffered from more mold lines.

I have the whole old range and the casting was pretty great. Only the assembly and pining was painful (ahh pining hands to writs...)

Really like it, and he's not oversized, proportions seems to be respected.

Not really my cup of tea but he looks nicely sculpted (and painted )
