Anyone got them? Are they worth getting?
I'm specifically looking at the Aragorn Marks and Jacques-Alexandre Gillois ones as they are with Fimo and I just started working with that material.
I can tell you now already, I wish I had done that a long time ago! So much more relaxing to work with than with Green Stuff!

Re: Miniature Mentor: sculpting tutorials?
Hi i have the following
Basic sculpting is rubish
Aragorn Marks are great but the guy is too good and too fast for me
Miniature Sculpting with James Van Schaik is my favourite he uses GS, the video has a gradual learning curve that can give good information to all even if you dont know how to sculpt.
From making the frame to shape forms and final details you have all that.
Aragorn is awesome but to me you need to be already a sculptor

Re: Miniature Mentor: sculpting tutorials?
Thanks Panda!
Not that I'm not interested in the Gs one but as I am working with Fimo at the moment those tutorials have my interest! Do you have the DVD versions or the downloads? I find 50$ a lot for a dvd so want to know a bit more before I decide to buy any...
Too fast you say? Maybe play them in slowmotion?!

You have all three by Aragorn Marks?
Re: Miniature Mentor: sculpting tutorials?
I've only seen one from Aragorn Marks and it's very good but the guy is so good and so fast that it may be a bit discouraging for some. Haven't seen any others though...
