GW plastics - softening and bending???

Post by Soren »

As a few of you know I am converting Pegasus Knights out of Empire, unbarded horses and Bretonnian, pegasus wings.

On my thread people suggested changing positions of the legs.

I have tried cutting and pinning the legs. I have found it difficult to maitain the strength of the legs even while pinning, especially with rearing horses.

I have also tried warming the plastic in boiling water. Perhaps I was to afraid of melting the plastic but I have had little success.

Please tell me how you have softened and bent GW plastic so that my Pegasus Knights will look more dynamic.

boiling water is good yet you need to take your time and slowly blend the plastics.... or you can go radical like me and give fire to the mini but caution you need to be extremely carefull to not melt the mini or burn fingers... thers also another possibility using light bolts near mini during some time the plastic gets hot and voila you can blend it gently.
