Bad Dwarf on bad boar 54mm work in progress

How to convert or sculpt a miniature? How to make a decent base or even a full diorama?!

The boar already is friggin awesome (though his right back leg looks a bit thin on the underside) but the Dwarf needs more evil detailling to make him a proper 'Bad' Dwarf. :)

looks a bit oversized to me, but in general I must say I really like it. characterful, intimidating, full of charisma of some kind. I am not sure if I really like the face, but the model is cool.

Well, I don't like the armour and the face... The rest look good. But the best is the Boar.

I generally quite like it. I have few remarks though:
- boar is too big. I'm not sure if I can explain it. I know it is supposed to be a giant boar. It's just... too giant. If you wanted that size of a mount, you could have sculpted some fantasy beast from your imagination. It is hard to me to 'believe' in such a big boar - even in the fantasy setting.
- as Skrit said - boar's legs are too thin. They wouldn;t be able to carry such a big body, not to mention the dwarf :)
- I hate the helmet. I even don't know why, but I hate it :) I have no other advice than - resculpt it.

Tomi mentioned the face and Nameless mantioned the size issues. These were the things I didn't like about this sculpt.

I hate the helmet because It was difficult for me to recognize the "real?" face...

I wrote it is work in progress, down part of legs are not finished I need cut miniature from base to finish legs and belly .
I like helmet and face , so I will not change it but thanks for advices :)
I know that some people may have other imagination of dwarf helmet or boar but it is my vision. I made few experiments with other shapes of helmet but some designs who work in 28mm and styliztion of this size do not work in 54mm. I decide for helmet looking like medieval and think it is ok for rider in armour.
