How to convert or sculpt a miniature? How to make a decent base or even a full diorama?!

Autum Bases for Woodelves or ...whatever

Have done some bases in autum style

the used materials:

Builded some stones from FIMO and used 3 different sands

then painted first in black

then brushed the sand in different browns and painted the stones with different redbrowns and finished with bleached and som metallic medium to get the effect of quartz crystal

next step was the static gras

then varnished the gras and painted it after drying and brushing with a mixture of different greens annd bleached and yellow

the next step was to bring in some leafs
painted it with different brown, red and yellow colors

last step was to put on some wood, cause where leafs are there must be wood also

the finished base

I like it! :)

two comments though: you can also use bits of cork instead of fimo
depending on the paintjob, I would prefer a base with less color, but this will suit undead more than elves I suppose :)

From where die you get the leaves?

Do you know a source in austria from where i can get that Fimo-stuff? Or Magic Sclup?

The leaves are done with basil, marjoram and Parsley (dried)....the bases smell very well ;)

For Magic Sculp .... how many you need? We sell it in our store, and we also can send it to you. It costs 9,90 ? + Post and Package.
