Unfortunately I had some problems with that base so I had to re-do the whole thing :( What happened: After adding some pva glue mixed with baking soda to create some grout almost all the definition and structure of the floor was gone. So it would have been a pain to paint and probably wouldn't look ...

Yep they look very nice. Did you use plaster or cork for the stone? (looks more like plaster to me )

Not sure if you mean the same thing I have in mind but anyways. One example that fits your question would probably be the color Red . Instead of using a darker red and later black for your shadows, you can use for example purple or green which are on the cool site of the color wheel and mix them wit...
