The base is Tallarn flesh with some P3 Beast hide, Cryx Bane Base, and a little bit of DArk Flesh added into it. I got the ix from a miniature mentor video. The one with the 54mm scale battle gnome.

Agree that the base isn't as good as the mini. Love that sword and the shield is the cat's ass. Great, realistic looking mini. Looking forward to what's next.
I'd reccomend spending a little bit of time going through the tutorials here on CofC for some really good step by step instruction on blending etc. A little more work on adding some deeper shading (Thinned GW washes work well enough) on areas like the skulls couiple with some layers of brighter high...

It'll look good on the table as is, but the suggestion of adding in some diluted washes of other colours onto the skin is a good one. I also think some brown washed into the gray of the base might work as well.
Tough to get lots of info on the mini from the size fo the pics, but it looks neat. I'd reccomend thinning your paint to at least 1:1 to start as it looks like it's gone on a little bulky in places (The shield and shoulder pads). It looks clean with all the paint being in the right places which is i...
