Re: Gimli
There's not a lot of flesh on this, but it looks like you did a pretty good job with it from what I can see. It's kinda hard to tell... How much shading/highlighting did you do?

Knight 1 / Step 2: NMM Armor
Been a while since I made any progress on this mini... Being my very first time doing NMM, plus fiddling with some ink glaze recipes (which I'll talk about a little further on), I've been studying up on tutorials, researching, and, well, procrastinating just a bit. :) For the armor on this guy, I ha...

Re: Grish`s WIPs
Looks awesome! :) The only "nitpick" I have for you is the beast's ear looks just a *bit* odd. I'm not sure if it's that it's more of a reddish tone than the other skin areas, or that it more of a block color without transitions... Just seems a little off compared to the rest of the model....

Les' Wash Recipe... can I substitute Vallejo Game Inks?
Hi All- I came across this post on DakkaDakka. It is "Les' Wash Recipe" http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/261541.page In the post it talks about using "Daler Rowney Acrylic Artist inks"... I'm wondering how these, or other "acrylic artist inks" compare to ...

Re: Amadis WIPs
Wow, is that freehand at the bottom of the robe? Nice. :) If I HAD to criticize something here, the gold fringe at the bottom of the cape, looks like maybe you put a wash on there and dulled it out a bit much? Could be the lighting though. Hard to tell from that angle. Anyway, great work. For affixi...

Re: Grish`s WIPs
You nailed the apron and the head. I feel like I'm really looking at dead pig flesh there.
The jeans (in the back mainly) IMO are maybe a little too white in some of the highlights?
Overall, great start, want to see the rest!
