More Than Warhammer?

As late as only I can make it, here is another update about our galleries:Let us start with Rzymek, who added photos of Bretonnian Grail Knights and Questing Knights, Wood Elf Treeman, Eagles and a Great Eagle, and a Dwarf Gyrocopter. Then there's Kacper_gda and his gallery updated with photos of Karanak and Flesh Hounds of Khorne.Lemartes showed his latest Eldar Autarch, and Slawol posted a photo of his Dragon Rune Orc.Szczurek posted a photo of his entry for the 3rd CofC Miniature Exchange: the Imperial Guard Sniper, and so did Szary with his entry: Kasrkin Sergeant Lemartes.Nameless painted Thunderlord - dwarf with an attitude from Avatars of War, and three Warmachine miniatures: Red Thrall, Purple Thrall and Green Thrall.Illusionrip reposted photos of his paintjob on this garage kit, but also added this nice Infinity Yuan Yuan diorama and a closeup of Yuan Yuan, which was awarded in the Infinity Painting Competition organized by Wargamer.pl.And the last painter in this update is Demi_morgana, who finished the squad of Death Guard Terminators of Nurgle, and posted photos of the remaining squaddies: one Death Guard Terminator, another Terminator of Nurgle and this Terminator. But he's not only painting Nurgle stuff, and this Mid-Nor Scourge Bearer and "Red Hook" prove it!Enjoy!

Promised Surprise Already Available!

We promised you a late Christmas Cracker, but due to the problems we had with our server we're even more late than we expected. But here we are with the promised stuff:You probably recognize Illusionrip, one of the most awarded painters in Poland. In 2009 he sold two miniatures from his own display case, but this time we have something better: one of his awarded models. It's the Sad Marine, which was a Golden Demon Finalist in France in 2007. You may remember the model of a kneeling Space Marine, sad about the never ending war. Now it can be yours! Then there's a very nice diorama depicting a sexy sorceress standing on top of a waterfall. Also painted by the same Illusionrip! So if you like his works, why not try to get this one?Slawol is selling his Archaon - Lord of End Times and Space Marines Terminator Chaplain, and you still can bid on Rzymek's Space Wolves Blood Claws if you missed the previous auctions. What more can I say? Check our auctions and good luck!

Was It Worth Waiting For?

Long time no see, as they say.Yes, it's been like more than 2 weeks ago, and it was just a short update about our site being back online. So what we've got now is a lot of new miniatures to let you know about!Good manners require that we should let ladies go first, so let us start with Ana and her limited edition Lord of Tzeentch on Disc. Take a look at the patterns on his clothes and tentacles to see what took her so much time to finish this paintjob.Moving on to men now...Demi_morgana is our most recognized Warmachine painter, so you should check his Privateer Press stuff, including this Soulhunter and interesting Ghost of Dire Troll. But there is also a group of German Geneticists from Darkson Designs and a Warhammer 40.000 Death Guard Terminator Lord if you're not a Warmachine or Hordes fan.Illusionrip was not satisfied with the previous photo of his silver-winning diorama, so he decided to replace it with a new picture of the Demonic Tower. Hopefully it does more justice to this excellent piece!A new member of the Chest of Colors group, Slawol, who has just moved there from Box of Brushes, rearranged pictures in his gallery and posted three new pictures: Maneater Paymaster (painted at the time when he was still in Box of Brushes), Archaon, Lord of End Times and Terminator Chaplain. All of them are examples of the style that Slawol is trying to develop - dirty, gritty, and not very cartoony...Szary's female Eldar Farseer seems to be a total opposite of Slawol's style - saturated colors, bright paintjob, sharp detailing. I believe many people will love this kind of painting!Flameon's painting seems to be something between Szary's and Slawol's styles: Check this Theoden and Deathmaster Sniktch out to see what I mean. ;-)Przemo painted this excellent Infinity chick for a painting competition. With this quality of painting his chances should be pretty good.... unless his rivals are well prepared for such opponents!Szczurek also wants to enter the competition, so he chose and painted this Infinity model. Let's wait to see the opponents... But in the meantime you can check this Elf Standard Bearer and Aenur in Szczurek's gallery. One painter who managed to escape our attention is Kacper_gda. To catch up with updates in his gallery, let me mention these models: Slaanesh Champion, the Masque, Juggernaut of Khorne, Be'Lakor, Chaos Marauder Horsemen, and other Chaos Marauder Horsemen, Tigers and Space Wolf Rune Priest. And now something you don't get to see very often: a Dragon painted by Nameless as his entry for Iron Painter. He managed to paint this beast in 2 weeks. Impressiveachievement, isn't it?But that's not all - he also painted Grom da Paunch of Misty Mountain and a Templar Knight from XIII Century, so you still have quite a lot to see. :-)To finish this update, I would like to remind you about the 3rd CofC Miniature Exchange, which is taking place right now. Some of our members already managed to deliver their miniatures to their recipients, so we can see these works in their galleries now. Let's start with Demi_morgana, who painted this model from Scibor Miniatures, then Lemartes with his Cherub, and Gildor with Prince Imrahil.Enjoy browsing!

It happened because of server upgrade, which unfortunately took our hosting company more than we expected. As the title says - it took us over four days to bring the site back online, but here it is, for you to enjoy. Some of you noticed our Facebook and Twitter presence during our website's downtime, which allowed us to keep you informed about the problems we experienced. In case you sent any emails to us, please re-send them, as our mail server was down, too.Thank you for your patience and believe us, it's great to be back!

Christmas Cracker For You

Holidays are coming, so I think people will have other things to do than painting miniatures. So before this merry time comes, we'd like to share a few new paintjobs with you.Let's start with the most productive of the painters mentioned today: Demi_morgana. He painted two old (let's call them classic) Games Workshop miniatures: Heinrich Kemmler also known as the Lichemaster and Krell. If you want to see them on a special display base, check this photo of these two Undead Characters together. But Demi_morgana's gallery includes one more new model: the Black Coach made from Dracula's Carriage released by Westwind miniatures.Kacpero shows us a better photo of his Slayer of Daemon finalist: Red Scorpions Librarian in terminator armor. But even more interesting is the other new miniature in his gallery: converted Sigvald the Magnificent. The colors are pretty uncommon for this model, but they were requested by the owner of this model to represent his PRG character. Then we've got Ana and her Limited Edition Sorceress. You will probably wonder why some things were done in a particular way on this model. Let us explain that the sorceress is floating above the ground and her dress is made of crystal fabric. But Ana will surely tell more about it on the forum. And the last miniature in this update is Cersei Lannister painted by Nameless. Yet another step forward in his project. Keep your fingers crossed for him :-)I think it will be difficult to manage to post another update before Christmas, but stay tuned, as we'll be back very soon with something special. Call it a Christmas cracker if you wish ;-)

Golden Demon Winner Clears His Display Case!

As we're getting closer to the new year, some of us felt they should refresh their display cabinets and so some of their miniatures became available for those of you who still have some money left and want to place a bid....The fist of these things is Sigvald the Magnificent painted by Illusionrip. If you would like to add this miniature to your collection - this may be a good moment, when other bidders spent their money buying X-mas presents ;-)Then there's something interesting for Beastmen fans: Illusionrip's Beastface the Centigor with a nice scenic lava-themed base.Thrall offers his Standard Bearer of Chaos, which can be an useful addition to many Hordes of Chaos armies, or maybe even display cases? And there are two "second chancers": Gildor's Yoda - now extremely cheap, and Rzymek's Blood Claws for all you Space Wolves players out there.Check our auctions out and good luck with your bids!

Slawol Was The Fastest...

So we've got the first miniature of our Third Chest of Colors Miniature Exchange! It'd Sir Michael painted by Slawol for Yaro. But that's not the only new paintjob in our galleries!Slawol managed to add two more new miniatures to his gallery: Protectorate of Menoth Choir Acolyte being a part of his project of painting miniatures in style inspired by John Blanche's works, and an Ogre Maneater Paymaster inspired by Beltane's version.Ana painted Sergeant O'Donnel, a nice female military model from Euphoria Miniatures and Nameless presented this Wolf and Red diorama. The last miniature in this update comes from Thrall, who painted this Standard Bearer of Chaos and hopes to give this miniature a new home.Stay tuned for more, because we'll soon have something new in our galleries again!

And here's something for our eBay watchers: While these Space Wolves are still a hot army, you may wish to grab these two packs of Blood Claws and Grey Hunters. If you prefer Daemons of Chaos, you may wish to check this Chaos Demon Prince Be'Lakor out.And if you're not interested in Warhammer, take a look at this Leogante, Wings of Redemption - Andrea, Gollum or Jedi Master Yoda painted by Gildor. And I bet the painters wouldn't mind if you place a bid ;-)

Benefits of Being Late

Here we are with another update about news in our galleries. The first thing which will surely catch your attention is (now OOP) Rackham Chimera painted by Illusionrip. Expect to see more of his paintjobs on Rackham models in future. :-)Then there's this converted Heresy Miniatures demon painted as the Devil by Nameless, who also shows us his Morrdha - Vampire Preacher.
Artur's gallery now includes photos of his latest Colonel Chenkov, and our other Warhammer 40.000 paintjobs are Rzymek's Blood Claws and Grey Hunters for Space Wolves space marines. Rzymek continues his bigger Bretonnian project, and so he painted this Grail Reliquary for that army.
Then we have something very rare: update of Lothar's gallery! This time it's this black version of winged Be'lakor, and another Be'Lakor without wings (as everybody should know red goes faster anyway ;-) ).
Then there's a big update to Gildor's gallery - starting with this Wood Elf Lord and Dwarf Lord, including Gollum and Jedi Master Yoda, and ending with his most colorful and probably paintjob best so far - Leogante - Wings of Redemption from Andrea Miniatures. Our delay with this update allowed me to include Ana's version of
Miranda from Hasslefree Miniatures. The dress was based on a real dress, and the miniature was a gift to the owner of that dress. There's one more nice female model to be shown soon, but you have to wait for it at least a few days...

Not For Your Eyes Maybe...

This time we have only a short update about new miniatures. Starting with Ana's fun project called "Peace and Love", inspired by so many things including the "King Rat" book, artistic aspect of Berlin, lack of tolerance, and mentality suffering from war experiences. The model is Rhasva Sentinel from Pegaso Models. Surely not something for everybody, pretty controversial concept and paintjob. Then there's something much more normal for most people, especially Warhammer players: Demi_morgana's version of Krell. Yet another old model from Games Workshop. Call it a classic if you prefer ;-)Nameless prepared many new paintjobs but now we have only three of them in our gallery. The first of them is Shiro, the Akita Inu dog, based on Nameless' real dog. And if you prefer fantasy stuff over miniature animals, you should see this Beastlord called Slaav'bor, and Fil'maar - another Beastlord painted by Nameless.Enjoy!

As many of you may alredy know, Games Workshop decided that there would be no Golden Demon in Poland this year. But this didn't discourage Polish painters who came up with the idea of making their own painting contest instead. This year we had the first edition of the Slayer of Daemon painting competition in Warsaw. If you still don't know the winners of the contest, you can check the full list of winners and a collection of Slawol's pictures. Still not the official ones, but we hope that the official photographer doesn't make us wait too long for them! ;-)We hope to meet even more of you at the contest in 2010!

Don't Let A Sick Man Write!

Being sick doesn't justify not posting this week's update. Let's try to keep it short, but there's so much to announce...Dead finally could show us the High Elves he's been painting for a long time: Archers,Swordmasters of Hoeth, Dragon with interchangeable riders, mounted Lord and Battle Standard Bearer, Repeating Bolt Throwers, a mounted Mage, Hero and Battle Standard Bearer on foot, who can also be mounted on Tiranoc Chariots or a Lion Chariot of Chrace. Then there's Rzymek and his: Dwarf Bolt Thrower and Stone Thrower, Lizardmen Skinks and another unit of Skinks, Kroxigor, Saurus Temple Guard and another unit of Saurus Temple Guard, Bretonnian King Louen Leoncoeur, Hero, Battle Standard Bearer, Duke, and an unusual version of the Green Knight painted as a regular Hero. While we're at Bretonnians, let's show this Bretonnian Battle Standard Bearer by Lemartes, which won him an honorable mention at Slayer of Daemon contest. Then we have one more Warhammer Fantasy miniature: Heinrich Kemmler - the Lichemaster by Demi_morgana.Moving on to Warhammer 40k we need to mention Artur's Brother Captain Stern of Grey Knights, and Thrall's version of Huron Blackheart. Then let's move to some stranger things ;-)The strangest thing must be the fact that I managed to finish another miniature! This one took at least 5 years (most of it spent waiting in a drawer, but it also counts) but at least you can see that Mahon is still painting... Here's the proof: a Templar of Day from Reaper Miniatures.Another less popular model is a new miniature from Euphoria Miniatures: Nikolai, the ex-marine painted by Ana and awarded with Bronze trophy at the Slayer of Daemon contest. But it's not the last mini for this update! We finally managed to take acceptable photos of Ana's Chaos Dragon, a Golden Demon finalist from Germany. If you want to see this dragon from other angles, you can see more photos here.Enjoy!

Is Rare Good Enough For You?

And while I still have your attention, please let me tell you about our new ebay auctions.First of them, as you have probably expected for some time, is Galharen's Dwarf Hero from Scibor Monstrous Miniatures. Nice and shiny blue NMM, simple but effective display base, and the model - which is less common than all the GW dwarfs - make it an interesting choice for all the fans of dwarf miniatures. But if you're not too much into short bearded warriors, you may prefer Slawol's Black Templar Captain Draco. The model is quite rare, as it was a Games Day special model, which makes it more special than regular Games Workshop releases.Good luck!

It's time for another update and it's already Tuesday, so let's move on to it without any unnecessary talking.First we have the third of Slawol's latest trio of 40K characters: Captain Draco of Black Templars. Then there's Demi_morgana with his renewed interest in Warhammer 40K miniatures, presenting us his new Death Guard Terminator. It's the first one and more are to come, so stay tuned! And long-absent Przemo returns with a very interesting version of a cool ork character: Snikrot. Why do I say it's interesting? Just check the base... ;-)I think that's all for now, but very soon you will see something new from Artur!

Another week and another update. This time, following the wave of interest in Space Wolves, we can see Slawol's new Wolf Priest and Inquisitor Lorr. There's also one more miniature by Slawol, which will be shown to you very soon!Demi_morgana painted a Pud Thrower, with a nice swamp-themed base. If you want to find out what happened to this miniature later, you can check our forum for this information! And finally I managed to take photos of the High Elf Hero painted by Ana during the painting demo at Golden Demon in Cologne. The subject was freehand painting, so you can see what she came up with during the demo. After the event it would be a shame to leave the model unfinished, so she decided to paint the rest of the model, so now you can see what she was doing during the Games Day.Stay tuned for more!

Armies Marching In

As some of our painters have posted new pictures to their galleries, I thought you should be told about the updates. Let's start with the most prolific of these artists: Rzymek. He posted pictures of a unit of Al Muktar's Desert Dogs, Chaos Knights, two Breonnian Sorceresses, Wood Elf Glade Riders, three Bretonnian Pegasus Knights, Voland's Venators and a High Elf Mage.Galharen posts his works very rarely, but this time we managed to update his gallery with a few phoos at once. So we've got a very nice Dwarf Hero from Scibor Monstrous Miniatures, a High Elf Mage from Galharen's own army, a White Lion of Chrace serving as a filler for a unit of White Lions that can be seen in Galharen's gallery, and another thing from his army: a High Elf Bolt Thrower. Quite a nice army he has, doesn't he?While we're at armies, we should mention another addition to Demi_morgana's Cryx force: a Deathjack.Almost every painter in this update posted some High Elves. We must mention Kacpero with his Selafyn and Szary with this High Elf Hero.To finish our update we need to show you Artur's Ragnar Blackmane and Przemo's Grimgor Ironhide. I hope you like them, as that's all we had for you this time...

Not so much to show you this time. We can't always bring you large updates, and after the previous one most updates will feel small...Let's start with our new Box of Brushes member: Thral, who shows us his latest Chaos Warrior in pretty unusual colors. I hope we will soon see something more in his gallery :-)Then there's Ana with her Golden Demon winning Sir Berthillac, or "Morgana's Intrigue". This miniature depicting the moment when Sir Berthillac is not the Green Knight yet, and is falling into a trap set by Morgana who lures him with her handkerchief like a lady in need of help. Eventually Morgana will turn the knight into the Green Knight, the same we know from most common versions of this model. This was Ana's entry for German Golden Demon, which won her gold in Warhammer single model category. And last but not least, Demi_morgana presents his latest diorama, called "Three steps from eternity".
