Knife thrower and other new faces in the Circus Troupe!

Do you remember the old post, in which I introduced the Circus Troupe that I had painted? Now some new faces join the troupe!

New troupe members

First, we have a Knife thrower with assistant:

Then there’s the Animal tamer and beasts:

Later we have a smaller model – the Arlequin. But does the size make him any less interesting?

Finally there’s the big thing that I saved for last. The Ropewalkers are a larger scenic piece, including two miniatures and a scenic base.

It’s been the largest model in the whole Circus Troupe project so far, but how can we be sure that there won’t be anything that can beat the size in future? 😉

Dwarf Hero from Hero Forge

Hero Forge is a company producing customized miniatures. This Dwarf Hero is an example of what such miniatures can look like.

As you may already know, Hero Forge allows you to design your miniatures as if you were building them from blocks. You choose parts for your model, assemble it online and finally order the customized model.

Results may look like this:

Land Raider Proteus for Salamanders Space Marines

So the Land Raider Proteus is done now, so you can see the finished effect. 🙂

I was a bit afraid if the weathering didn’t make it too “orky”, but in the end I like it the way it is, and as long as its new owner is happy – so am I.

You can see the model in its in-progress state in this post.  I like the way the burned exhausts and guns look. It was an interesting effect to work on.

Here are all the photos. Enjoy! 🙂
